Rajasthan With a Dog: A Practical Note

Rajasthan With a Dog: A Practical Note
The desert is not the problem. Afternoons are the problem. Any trip through Rajasthan with a dog should be built around the clock, not the map. Plan mornings and evenings; give your afternoons to shade and cool floors. Jaipur is generous — every good homestay we know has a shaded courtyard or a rooftop that catches the evening breeze. Udaipur is even kinder; the lake does most of the temperature management for you. Do not skip the water. Do not skip the paw balm. Do not skip the mid-day nap. Rajasthan is a place that will happily welcome your dog if you meet it on its own terms.
